If that’s true, I’m going to give you what may be the MOST important question you need to be asking yourself as a leader.
At the end of each month, ask yourself this…
"If every person in my organization personally produced at the level I personally produced at this month, would my team be exploding with growth?"
If the answer is no, you have only one person to blame for your team’s lack of duplication - you!
(Truth be told, if you want to be a powerful leader, it’s ALWAYS your responsibility for your lack of duplication)
Now, would you like an even MORE powerful question that leads to MORE powerful results?
Thought so. Here goes:
"If every person in my organization personally produces at the level I personally produced this week, would my team be exploding with growth?"
Monthly reflection is good, but weekly is definitely better!
Now you want the supercharger question?
"If every person in my organization personally produced at the level I personally produce at TODAY, would my team be exploding with growth?"
The times when I’ve created the most radical growth are the times when the answer to that last question was "yes".
You see, we are in the business of duplication…
If you aren’t producing personally, you can’t expect your team to produce.
Believe me, your team is WATCHING you.
If you aren’t producing personal results, your team sees that.
If they don’t see you producing, you are transmitting to them that now is not the time.
Energetically, you’re telling them to sit back and wait.
I’d love to fluff you up and tell you that all you have to do is put a few in, who put a few in, who put a few in… and you’re retired.
But that’s so far from the truth it ain’t even funny.
If you want your team to produce, you gotta produce. By far the best way to motivate your team is to SHOW them what’s possible.
So, my friend, heed this advice and go produce like a savage!
